The Football University Success

James, Danny, Ryan and Ephraim were studying the Level 3 Sports Performance and Excellence BTEC Course at The Football College and are now studying the Sports Coaching and Development HND at The Football University.

Paul is a volunteer at Bury FC The Trust helping deliver sessions in the local schools and in the community. Paul also coaches/plays for Bury FC Disability.Screen Shot 2017-07-25 at 10.42.08

The HND also provides extensive work experience in both coaching and sports development roles.

For students that wish to coach, we provide Elite Work experience in Academies and Community Placements. Having recently created a partnership with Accrington Stanley we can now send our HND students to their Academy and  Community Trust to gain valuable hands on experience.

PLAYING – For Students that want to continue their playing careers, the opportunities are there at various levels.

COACHING – For Students that wish to coach, opportunities are available at a variety of clubs and levels.

MARKETING/MEDIA/OTHER – There are many other ways to gain work experience at a professional football club or football environment, all of which are available at The Football University.

Paul Chandler (Employment Opportunity)

The Football University Student, Paul Chandler has gained employment at Bury FC The Trust coaching in Local schools and in the Community. Paul also is a player/manager for Bury Disability FC Reserves.

James Edney (Coaching Opportunity)

The Football University Student, James Edney is undertaking valuable hands-on work experience at Bury FC Girls and Ladies, working with the Women’s Reserves.

The role involves taking warm-ups, drills and sessions with both the First Team and Development Squad and attending games on Sundays where he assists the Head Coach on the sideline.

Ryan Edwards-Marsh (Coaching Opportunity)

The Football University Student, Ryan Edwards-Marsh is undertaking valuable hands-on work experience at Bury FC Girls and Ladies, working with the Women’s Reserves.

The role involves taking warm-ups, drills and sessions with both the First Team and Development Squad and attending games on Sundays where he assists the Head Coach on the sideline.
